How to request deletion of your data

In compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Law 13.709/2018) and Meta's Platform Policies, you have the right to request permanent deletion of all your personal data stored by Wazap.

Option 1 — Through the platform

  1. Log in to your account at wazapi.io/login.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Click "Delete my account" and confirm.

Your account will be deactivated immediately. Data will be permanently deleted within 90 days.

Option 2 — By email

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request" including:

  • Full name or registered company name.
  • Email address of the account to be deleted.
  • Associated phone number or tax ID (if applicable).

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 15 business days after identity verification.

What will be deleted

  • Registration data: name, email, password, and phone.
  • Company data: name, tax ID, and settings.
  • Automation flows, contacts, and conversation history.
  • Usage records and logs associated with the account.

What may be retained

We may retain minimal data for the period required by law, such as:

  • Tax and financial records (up to 5 years, per tax legislation).
  • Security logs required for fraud investigation.

After the legal retention period, this data will also be deleted.

Users who authorized via Facebook/Meta

If you connected Wazap to your Meta account, you can also revoke permissions directly in Facebook Settings under Apps and Websites and request deletion of shared data. After revoking, contact us per Option 2 above to ensure complete deletion from our system.
