1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device on future visits and retain session information.

2. Cookies we use

These cookies are our own and always on:

  • Session cookie: keeps you authenticated while browsing the platform. Expires when you close the browser or after the configured inactivity timeout.
  • CSRF cookie: protects against cross-site request forgery attacks. Required for secure form submission.
  • Locale cookie: stores your language preference (pt-BR or en) to display the interface in the correct language.
  • wz_consent: stores your choice about optional cookies and its date for 12 months; after that, we ask again.
  • wz_attr: keeps the source of your first visit (campaign, ad click identifiers such as gclid and fbclid, referring site and landing page) for 90 days so we can attribute your signup. It stays with Wazapi and is not sent to third parties. Legal basis: legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, IX).
Optional cookies (section 3) are only set after you accept them in the cookie notice.

3. Optional cookies (Google)

With your permission, the site loads Google tags through Google Tag Manager. Until you choose, no Google tag is loaded and none of these cookies is set. The legal basis is your consent (LGPD art. 7, I).

  • Measurement: Google Analytics (_ga and _ga_*): counts visits and shows how the site is used — page views, traffic source and signups. They last up to 2 years.
  • Advertising: Google Ads (_gcl_*): measures whether one of our ads led to a visit or a signup and lets us show Wazapi ads to people who visited the site. They last up to 90 days.

This data goes through a measurement server in São Paulo, operated by Tagelo, also part of Oryn Labs, and then to Google, which processes it outside Brazil, mainly in the United States. This international transfer relies on your specific consent (LGPD art. 33, VIII). Details in the Privacy Policy.

4. Managing cookies

You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent authentication — you will not be able to log in to the platform.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice. Continued use after notification implies acceptance of the changes.
